Ebola disease in DRC
As of 6 September 2026, a total of 6,686 confirmed Ebola disease (Bundibugyo virus) cases and 3,226 confirmed deaths have now been reported across six provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Tshopo, Haut-Uele and Bas-Uele.
