Hantavirus - cruise ship

As of 27 May 2026, a total of 13 cases of Andes virus (eleven confirmed and two probable), including three deaths, have been reported in relation to the outbreak which began on the MV Hondius cruise ship. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on hantavirus.
